Android 15

Android 15, “Artificial Human No. 15”, is Dr. Gero’s 15th android creation. He is like the rest of the androids, designed to defeat Goku due to the fact he overthrew the Red Ribbon Army as a child.
In the main timeline version of Android 15 he was destroyed by Dr. Gero, the parallel world version of Android 15 makes his debut as an antagonist in the film Dragon Ball Z: Super Android 13!
Akira Toriyama actually designed this android to be Android 14 and have Android 14 as Android 15 but Toei Animation switched the 2 androids around.

Android 15 only has short lines in the original version and also in the Funimation dub. In the original the only lines he said was “Son Goku…” a few times and “Trunks” once. In the Funimation dub he says things like “Who blasted mah blast!?” “pimp” “gangster” or “Okay… let’s dance”.
His main concern was his task to defeat Goku. He has a comedic side of himself as he hilariously falls through the snow in the movie and fixes his tie and hat very often. He has a small flask that he is seen during the film which gives his character some charm.

Android 15 looks like a very short and small man. To an extent he resembles a stereotype of an African American due to his large pink lips and dark skin tone. This is more noticeable in the Funimation dub when he is given the voice of an African American as well.
15 wear’s a large green hat with a red ball on the top, what some consider the rendition of a pimp’s hat. He has a black and white tuxedo shirt with a dark yellow and blue overcoat. He also has a red and black bow tie showing the Red Ribbon Army logo. He wears light blue baggy pants with black boots. His hat covers his white glass-dome cranium, which is similar to Android 19 and Android 20. His eyes are hidden by his glasses as they are completely mechanical.
