He is easily identified with his icy blue eyes, red/orange mohawk and golden loop earrings. His clothes consist of a lime green vest, green boots and green bracers with a dark under suit. A small Red Ribbon Army logo is located on the left side of his vest, this is indicating who is creator is. This all changes when 16 is taken to see Dr. Brief to get repaired. The logo is then patched with the Capsule Corp. logo when he joins the Z-Fighters.

Android 16 is Dr. Gero’s 16th “Artificial Human” creation.

He was initially designed to destroy Goku who overthrew the Red Ribbon Army as a child.

Android 16 is the tallest of all Dr. Gero’s creations throughout the “Dragon Ball” franchise, more than double the height of Android 18.

16’s appearance was based off of Dr. Gero’s son who was ranked high as a Red Ribbon Army soldier who was killed in action by an enemy bullet at a time before the army’s destruction at the hands of Goku.
