  • The Grand Kai is the king who oversees the four Kais, North Kai, West Kai, South Kai and East Kai who rule over the 4 quadrants of the Universe.

  • Grand Kai is portrayed as an aged hipster who tends to wear jeans and a denim jacket and listens to rock music from his boom box consistently. He wears black Wayfarer sunglasses and owns a Blue 1958 Cadillac Series 62 Convertible. When overseeing the Other World Tournament, he wears yellow robes with a black mantle depicting the kanji symbol for Kai, as well as a hat that has the kanji symbol “Grand” on it.
