King Kai, also known as North Kai, is the King of the Northern Area of Universe 7. He is one of Goku’s many Martials arts teacher and mentor. Later on he also teaches Krillin, Yamcha, Tien, Piccolo and Chiaotzu.

He wears Teashade sunglass and is a very short blue skinned being. He wears a black overall with red sleeves. He also has cricket-like antennas on the top of his head.
