Iron Man had a whopping 5 premiers from the 14th of April in 2008 until the 24th of April 2008 which were located in Sydney, The Hague, Berlin, Rome and London.

Then the film was released from the 30th of April 2008 until the 27th of September 2008.

There was also a premier release in California on the 30th of April 2008.

Tony Stark, A Genius, billionaire, playboy, philanthropist. Tony is the son of a remarkable, legendary inventor and weapons contractor Howard Stark. When Tony is assigned to give a presentation on some new weapons at an Iraqi unit that was led by Lt. Colonel James Rhodes, he is given one heck of a ride on enemy lines. That ride doesn't go to plan when Tony's Humvee that he was in gets attacked by enemy combatants. He luckily survives, barely, with a bunch of shrapnel lodged within his chest and a car battery wire to his heart. In order for him to survive he comes up with a way to minimise the size of the battery and figures out that the battery could power something else, something bigger. This is when Iron Man was born. He uses this, prototype, to escape from the cave he was in. Once he was home he began to work on perfecting the Iron Man suit. The man who was put in charge of Stark Industries has plans to take over all of Tony's technology no matter the cost.
